Teaching Experience

Ever personable and attentive, Isabel is a highly experienced tutor with four years of expertise in both one-on-one private tuition and classroom teaching. From Independent School admissions preparation to Oxbridge admissions, Isabel has an extensive track record of developing and delivering bespoke curricula that help students realise their potential.

Building on her experience as a Teaching Assistant at St. Andrew’s Prep, an independent preparatory boarding school, Isabel is well-versed in accommodating diverse needs and interests. Her teaching philosophy is centred on empowering young people to develop their academic curiosity and problem-solving skills, ensuring not only stellar exam results but also a lifelong love of learning.

In her initial sessions, Isabel focuses on identifying each student’s preferred learning style—be it auditory, verbal, visual, or kinaesthetic—and tailors her teaching methods to amplify the child’s strengths while addressing their weaknesses. By creating a supportive yet challenging environment, she equips her students with the tools and resilience they need to excel academically and personally.
