Extra-curricular interests
Will is a published poet and writer, being an Acumen Young Poet and runner up for the Erbacce and Grierson Verse Prizes, and has recently completed a book-length epic poem on Edinburgh’s Royal Mile. He is avidly interested in all forms of music, and writes frequently in the area for a number of publications, as well as performing as a DJ in both Edinburgh and London. He is also a keen cyclist and runner, and hopes to complete the Land’s End to John o’ Groats cycle this year as well as his first marathon. This passion for exploration on foot or wheel informs his deep literary interest in psychogeography, and in particular writing and music concerning London’s history and future.

‘Will was a fantastic help to my daughter in her successful 11+ applications for a prestigious independent school. His empathetic approach helped her gain valuable confidence in her abilities to make the jump from primary state education to her current school, and we are so grateful for his time and energy”.
“Will’s kind demeanour was exactly what we were looking for, and helped our bright eight-year old focus himself in areas where he was initially nervous. Will’s ability to not only teach but listen to and encourage our son was a breath of fresh air”.
